Finally back on the blog! I’ve been so busy planning this wedding I’ve barely had any time to post. I wanted to get on here today and share some of my MUST HAVE skincare products that I’ve been using as my wedding approaches. First, a little bit about my skin. I have PCOS which often causes cystic acne breakouts which in my case, I get the same reoccurring blemish in the exact same spots, which can leave scarring and red marks too! I’ve been taking care of my skin as best as I can to have it as clear as possible leading up to the big day! My skin is dry, it has been since I was little and I always need a ton of moisturizer. My best secret for clear skin is not to wear makeup as much as possible and learn to love the skin you are in. I find that this helps my skin breathe and stay clear. So here are some of my favorite products and why I love them:
1. Clarisonic Mia 2 Skin Cleansing System
I absolutely love this and use it every day. The charge lasts a long time too which is great for travel even though the charger is very compact. I use it with my favorite cleansers and it leaves my skin feeling “like I got everything off”. My two favorite brush heads to use with it are The Radiance Facial Cleansing Brush Head and the Acne Facial Cleansing Brush Head
2. Tula Hydrating Day and Night Cream
NEED NEED NEED. The first time I tried this I never looked back. It’s just everything and then some. The texture and consistency is PERFECT and it just feels good on. I feel like all too often when I try moisturizers it’s great for a hot second and then my skin just feels completely dried out again. Not with this! I wear it under my makeup, I wear it without makeup, I use it every morning, afternoon and night. I will rave about it forever. If there’s one thing you invest in, GET THIS. Don’t be scared of the price you will not regret it for a second.

3. TULA Probiotic Skin Care Pro-Glycolic 10% pH Resurfacing Gel Toner
What I love about this toner is it really does a deep clean. I feel that it helps prevent breakouts or if you are breaking out, it brings everything out and reduces reappearances. It’s also thin and smooth on.
4. Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Clear Skin Kit
First of all you know when you have somewhere to be, that’s when you are gonna break out. I love this line and it’s a great drugstore buy. I put a little bit of the cream on my spots before bed and they are visibly smaller and less painful when I get up. I was blown away by the results with a drugstore brand. I feel like they have improved their recipe with this particular line because they didn’t always work for me when I was a teenager.
5. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
This is newer product to the market. For me it’s a yes. It is thick so I recommend using it at night, but it is super pampering and hydrating. I recommend giving it a try.
6. Philosophy Clear Days Ahead Fast-Acting Salicylic Acid Acne Spot Treatment
When I was in college around senior finals I had a really bad blemish I just could not get rid of. A friend of mine pulled this out of her purse and told me to put some of it on an my blemish was gone the next day. I couldn’t find it for a few years and when I finally did again I stocked up big time and now they have a whole skincare line to go with it. This is perfect for travel or for your purse. It’s fast acting too.
7. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
If I could scream at the top of my lungs about this I would lol. My lips are IMPOSSIBLE. There is no chapstick or lip balm on the planet that can keep these lips of mine moisturized. NOT.EVEN.ONE. My lips are always dry and cracking. This lip mask is a miracle worker. It’s nice and thick and lasts a long time and has a nice light flavor to it.
So there you have it! Some products I can’t live without. Skincare is always worth the money. I know it can be frustrating to continuously invest in products that don’t work. I’ve had the privilege of being able to try to many things gifted from so many brands. I purchase and would purchase all of these with my own money. As usual all opinions are my own and of course consult your doctor while trying a skincare routine.
