As you probably know by now I’m a complete makeup junkie. I’ve tried so many products and I get a lot of samples to try. I’ve curated a collection of all my favorite makeup products in an easy to shop page for you guys right here. I’ve organized everything by section so you can find all the items I use. Instead of writing out each shade, for most of them if you just click on the product the shade I use should load by default. But I always advise that you find what works best for you 🙂 As always, although I some items I did initially receive as gifts or for review, this page isn’t sponsored in any way and these are all items I would buy with my own money and use myself.
Here’s the run down on my foundation situation. I stick to light-medium coverage. I have dry skin and alway moisturize before hand or use a moisturizing primer. I’m someone that believe it or not actually doesn’t wear makeup every day and I find that letting my skin breathe as much as possible contributes to clear and healthy skin.
Concealer, Concealer let’s talk Concealer. So as I mentioned before I suffer from acne flare ups often so having some good products that offer coverage is key. I also use concealer for my under eye my eyelid and my under brown and for contouring as well. Here are my top choices. You can click on each one to shop!
I’m new to the primer game (I know right where have I been all this time?) I understand why people use it but I don’t always see a huge difference in terms of the claims to “mattify” and claims to make your skin “poreless”. That being said, I DO think that primer helps the makeup mix a little better and it does help it last a little longer and stick to your skin better. I’ve tried out a few different ones and these are the ones I like
On days I need a little extra coverage or I’m using a little more product than normal I go over my foundation and cover up with some powder. I like the two below. Alternatively on days where I don’t want a full face of makeup but just want some real quick coverage I just put a little powder on my face and go!
I tent to stick to the same rosy colors for blush. Here are a few of my favorites. Blush is all about the same to me.
CONTOUR + BRONZER
HIGHLIGHT + GLOW
I just started playing around with highlighters when I go full glam. It did take me a little while to figure out where to place them. I place them above my cheekbones above my contour and a little on my eyelids. Let me know if you have any favorites!
I have the curliest most hard to manage, hard to grow eyebrows. They are literally straight out of the jungle book. SEND HELP QUICK. I’m still figuring them out, and probably never will so if you have your eyebrows figured out please teach me your ways. I’ve decided that I can sort of fake it with these products. I have to sculpt them first with styling gel then fill them in.
EYELASHES + MASCARA
I’ve been suffering from dry cracked lips for a long time. I probably need to drink more water (I’m that weird person that hates the key ingredient to life lol) but here I am with my shriveled up lips. I constantly need to use a lip scrub and a moisturizer. I feel like no matter what I do my lips don’t wanna relax. Here is what I use to tame them as best as I can!
MATTE/CREAM LIP COLOR
When the Matte lip trend surged not so long ago I wasn’t super into it. I still don’t totally understand it because to me it feels a bit “unfinished”. I’m someone who needs a lot of moisture in my lips so I felt like a lot of the matte colors had everything bud moisture. To my surprise I found several that were moderately hydrating! Yay!
I am such a lipgloss girl. And they are so fun to hoard too.It took me like an hour to trim these down to a manageable amount for you guys. I have dozens of glosses and I wear them all. The ones I am loving the most right now are linked below. My lips are super dry so I think that’s why I stick to glosses. Until I find something that keeps me from having to re apply constantly (YES I have all the Kylie Lip Kits and I have also tried out Lipsense love those too but they still leave me dry) I mainly stick with my glosses.
Lipstick makes me feel super grown up always has is that weird? I don’t wear it often, I think it’s mainly because my lips are so dry that it cakes. I have managed over the years to find some investment shades and brands that I keep handy for a date night or a special occasion that you can shop below!
BUDGET FRIENDLY/DRUGSTORE LIPSTICK
I also put together some similar shades that are super affordable that you can find at your local pharmacy or big box store! These are also super moisturizing and I wear these like chapstick. These are perfect to throw in your purse and you don’t have to worry about losing it or your buff stealing it at the club lol.
From eyelash curlers, to beauty blenders the tools are just as important as what you are putting on your face. I personally like to invest in my tools a little. I try not to go overboard but if it’s something I’m going to have to re-buy every year because it’s going to end up wearing out I end up buckling down and just buying a nice one. I think once you are at a point where you can afford to slowly invest in your tools you should. Here are some of my favorite essentials.
